Prof. Dr. Mohamed A. Awad is Professor at The Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine. Prof. Awad has over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting. His area of interests has been in Foundation Engineering, Pile Foundations, Soil Mechanics, Soil Improvement, Soil Dynamics, Soil Behavior, and Computer Applications.

Prof. Awad Teaches Foundation Engineering, Advanced Foundation Engineering, Behavior and Design of Deep Foundations, Soil Mechanics, Advanced Soil Mechanics, Soil Improvements, Strength of Materials, Building Construction Material, Structural Analysis, Static’s, and Computer Application in Civil Engineering.

Awad, has awarded his Ph.D. degree in 1991 in Geotechnical Engineering, from Middle East Technical University, Turkey, after receiving a Master degree at the same University in 1987. He has received B.Sc. in 1984 at El Mansoura University, Egypt.
