David Heap, London, Gaza Freedom March & People for Peace

A linguistics professor at the University of Western Ontario

Heap was on board the Canadian Boat, the Tahrir, when it was seized by the Israeli navy in international waters.

A parent of two, a UWO faculty member (French & linguistics), and a peace and social justice activist. He participated in the Gaza Freedom March in December 2009 and hopes to help foster people-to-people links which build solidarity with Palestine.
