Hayel Abdul Hamid
Refugee from Safad; lived in Yarmouk RC, Syria; joined Hani Al-Hassan in coordinating Palestinian activism from West Germany; joined Fateh in 1963/64 and led Fateh groups in Egypt and Syria; received military training in China in 1967; became Fateh's representative in Cairo in 1969, and head of Fateh's security apparatus in April 1973; member of the Fateh Central Committee; assassinated by the Abu Nidal group in Tunis on 15 Jan.
