Where Was Julis Located?

Julis is located in the north part of Gaza District, north of al-Majdal, east of Hamama, as shown on the map.

Julis:

The settlement of Hodiyya was established on village lands in 1949. One houses, in the southwestern section of Julis village site, is occupied by Jewish residents. The military camp built by the British is now used by the Israeli army.
