Where Was Kawfakha Located?

Kawfakha is located in the eastern part of Gaza District, east of Gaza, north of al-Muharraqa, as shown on the map.

Kawfakha:

The settlement of Nir 'Aqiva was established in 1953 on Kawfakha village lands. Only the mosque remains, and it is used as a storehouse for animal fodder and as a horse stable. The Kawfakha village site has been fenced in and serves as a pasture.
